Brooklyn’s cultural tapestry is intricately woven with
threads of the Caribbean diaspora, presenting barbershops, restaurants, hair braiding salons, and numerous other aspects of daily life. While our influence has always been felt, it was often an unspoken acknowledgment that we are the heartbeat of Brooklyn—until the arrival of this guidebook.
